Sealing pliers Super-Poly impulse sealer
These handy sealing pliers 381 PS and 631 PS from Audion are suitable for sealing (tubular) film with a maximum thickness of 2 x 0.3 mm. With a length of 380 mm or 630 mm, the most common films can be sealed.

The 381 PS and 631 PS from Audion are extremely suitable for sealing various products. The advantage of an impulse sealer is the fact that there is no warm-up time; when the pliers are switched on, sealing can begin immediately. Due to the flexibility of the handy pliers, products with an irregular shape can be sealed very easily. The 381 PS can seal up to 380 mm at a time, and the 631 PS up to a maximum of 630 mm. The interlocking sealing bars ensure a neat seal seam of 3 mm wide. The Audion Super-Poly 381 PS and 631 PS sealing pliers are suitable for sealing strong polyethylene up to a maximum thickness of 2 x 0.3 mm (300 microns), preferably preformed bags.
The sealing bars close themselves by means of the closing (squeezing) movement of the pliers, and as soon as the operating button is pressed (operated with one finger), sealing begins. The sealing time is indicated by an indicator light on the sealing pliers. After the sealing time has elapsed (maximum 1 – 3 seconds), sealing stops automatically and you can open the pliers again.
Impulse sealer VS. continuous sealers:
The biggest difference between an Impulse sealer and a Continuous sealer is the fact that an Impulse sealer only draws power when it is switched on and there is no warm-up time. Impulse sealers can remain connected to the power supply throughout the working day and are immediately ready for use. After use, the sealing bars cool down immediately, making the Audion 381 PS and 631 PS Impulse sealers safe for mobile use.
The sealing pliers must be connected to the supplied transformer, with the cable range being 5 metres to the sealing pliers. The supplied transformer for the Audion 381 PS and 631 PS has a maximum power of 1500 watts and can be connected to 230V-1ph-50/60 Hz. The dimensions are 270 x 190 x 190 mm and the weight is 7 kg.
The transformer is equipped with an on/off switch with an indicator light and a continuously adjustable knob (setting 1 10) to set the maximum sealing time (1 3 seconds) The indicator light is illuminated when the pliers are switched on.

Recommendation when using the Audion Super-Poly 381 PS and 631 PS: Test the setting (sealing time) of the sealing pliers on the material to be sealed beforehand and adjust where necessary. Is the seal not strong enough? Then the knob should be set to a higher value (1-10) so that the sealing time is extended to a maximum of 3 seconds. If the material burns, the sealing time should be shortened.
