ISO Class 5 is achieved directly at the filter outlet, while the general working area typically reaches ISO Class 6–9 in "as-built" condition (according to ISO 14644-1).

Cutting-edge technology in mobile cleanrooms
The CleanShell supports ISO Class 6–9 environments suitable for sensitive operations. HEPA H14 filters capture particles down to 0.3 microns with 99.995% efficiency. For higher cleanliness demands, ULPA U15 filters are optionally available. ISO Coarse ≥ 60% (G4) pre-filters safeguard the primary absolute filters. Airflow is directed horizontally and generates positive pressure, keeping the cleanroom structure properly inflated. The filtered air flows across the workspace and gently diffuses outward, minimizing contamination risks.
Control over cleanliness
The operational cleanroom class achieved depends on multiple factors: process type, materials used, installation conditions, cleaning cycles, personnel behavior, gowning discipline, and ambient air quality. ISO Class 5 unidirectional (laminar) flow is typically attained right at the filter discharge, while the broader working space achieves ISO Class 6–7 in operation.
Integrated gowning room / material airlock
Access to the CleanShell is via an integrated gowning area that also serves as a material airlock. This space allows proper gowning without compromising the cleanliness of the main chamber. Zippers on both sides provide operational flexibility. Connections are available for cables, compressed air, water, and other utilities. Filtered air flows from the filter units through the workspace and exits through discharge ports at the rear.
Robust floor and frame structure
The floor of the CleanShell consists of an integrated base sheet. For more intensive or long-term usage, particularly involving equipment on wheels or swivel castors, we recommend an optional PVC tile floor. This floor is also available in an ESD-safe version, engineered for heavy loads and resistant to most chemicals and cleaning agents. This optional PVC tile floor is expandable and relocatable, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the setup. The cleanroom is supported by a modular, lightweight yet robust frame that guarantees structural stability and safety even during power outages. The enclosure easily fastens to the frame using velcro.
Durable and transparent materials
The CleanShell is crafted from specially selected materials that guarantee durability, fire safety, and optimal cleanliness in compliance with international standards such as ISO 14644-1. Large transparent side and ceiling panels optimize natural daylight ingress, enhancing visibility and the feeling of space for operators.
