The Vileda Professional CE MicroIntensive Duo mop (MI Duo Plus L) is a high-quality, double-sided disposable microfibre mop specially developed for effective contamination control and residue removal in critical controlled environments. Manufactured from validated MicroIntensive L material, this mop delivers a proven 4-log reduction in cleaning efficiency, seamlessly meeting the strict requirements of EU GMP Annex 1 and FDA guidelines. Thanks to its innovative double-sided design, this disposable mop cleans twice the surface area of traditional single-sided mops, providing significant process optimisation and cost savings in your cleanroom.
This disposable microfibre mop combines very low particle shedding (in accordance with IEST-RP-CC-003.4) with outstanding cleaning performance on a microscopic level. The CE MicroIntensive Duo mop is cleanroom-laundered and individually packaged under controlled conditions, making it exceptionally fit for purpose for streak-free cleaning and disinfection of floors, walls, ceilings, stainless steel, and glass surfaces in demanding pharmaceutical and high-tech cleanrooms.
4-layer material construction for maximum performance
The mop cover is purposefully constructed from four high-grade functional layers to ensure maximum cleaning efficiency and process reliability:
- Cleaning side (front): 50% polyester microfibre and 50% polyester for thorough contamination and particle removal down to the micron level.
- Middle layer 1: 100% polyester with very high absorbency for optimal distribution and retention of disinfectants and cleaning fluids.
- Middle layer 2: 100% polyurethane foam (PU) for even pressure distribution across the surface, excellent shape retention, and a lightweight feel.
- Backing side: 100% polyester for a stable, reliable, and secure attachment to the mop frame.
Thanks to this advanced multi-layer construction, the cover glides smoothly across all surfaces with minimal frictional resistance (easy gliding), delivers proven cleaning power, and sheds virtually no particles (low particle shedding). In addition, the cover comes equipped with a standard integrated thumb loop, significantly simplifying the ergonomic and touchless removal of the used mop cover.
